Purchasing

Our Purchasing Department is responsible for spare parts and consumables for all vessels in our management. The purchase system is part of our computerized maintenance system to assure a effiecient and reliable purchasing process. We have contractual agreements with our suppliers that are renegotiated on a yearly basis. Thus, we archive economies of scale and for our clients this means we can supply your ships with quality parts at lower prices.

After 15 years in the Shipping Industry we have developed good relations and cooperation with reliable suppliers all around the world. As some of our ships are operating in the worldwide spot market we know the importance of being flexible and to have good partners in different locations around the world.

With experience in running both old and new ships, we are used to fighting with long delivery times and searching for “out of production” spares. We know what “rocks to turn” and how to work around problems.

Some of our biggest suppliers are; Whilhelmsen Ship Services, Exxon Mobile, Shell, Statoil, Frydenbø Power, Wärtsilä and Johnson Controls.
