Crew Management

Fjord Shipping AS currently employs around 380 crew-members, mostly from Lithuania and Ukraine, but also a few from Iceland and Norway.

Our crewing offices are situated in Klaipeda (Lithuania) and Sevastopol (Ukraine).

All of our crew members are certified according to Stcw-95, and training in Fjord Shipping SMS system is provided by our crewing agencies before the crew is allowed to join the vessels.

The crewing offices are in direct daily contact with our dedicated crew department in our Norway based headquarters. All relevant crew info and certificates are at all times filed and stored in the company archives.

The crew salaries are handled and controlled from our own accounting department in Norway.
