History

Fjord Shipping was founded in 1994 and started out as technical management of MT “Fjordglimt”, a product tanker owned by local investors.

Today, the company has the management 17 vessels in the Tank, Reefer and General Cargo segments. The organization of the vessels is through single-purpose companies with Fjord Shipping as responsible for operations and quality management.

The company is located in modern facilities at the InterCom Terminal in Måløy, Norway.

Our organization is in constant development and as of spring 2009, there are 15 people employed at the headquarters in Måløy. Fjord Shipping is also represented in Klaipeda and Sevastopol through own employees and business partners.

The mission of Fjord Shipping is to offer reliable and high quality services consistent with our clients’ requirements, and to be an active part in exploring new business opportunities in close collaboration with existing and new clients.
